The Hanley Swan Open Gardens Walkabout has around 23 gardens open to the public over the May Spring Bank Holiday weekend. This locally run event helps to raise funds for the local Hanley Churches and is organised by Howard and Carol Hutchins.
The event gets bigger and better each year so suggest you come along and either drive around using the car park around the village or take a stroll and enjoy the village atmosphere.
The £5.00 fee helps to raise funds for the village church and entitles entry to ALL the Hanley Swan open gardens over the three days as long as you keep your ticket. You can return as many times as you wish.
Food is served at various gardens around the village between 12 – 2 pm, just look out for the ‘Chef’ signs. Light lunches and afternoon cream teas are available from 12 to 5pm at The Grange.
