The Hanley Swan Cafe Market has donated greatly to the village. Back in early 2000, it donated money for 5  Duck Houses to be installed in the middle of the village pond, and in 2010 Picnic Benches were also donated from funds raised at the Cafe Market.

The Hanley Swan Market & Café is held in the Village hall every month.

The market is held on the last Saturday of each month (apart from August and December) and is open from 09:30 am until 12:00. In the warmer/dryer months, we have stalls outside in addition to the stalls inside the hall itself.

The event brings the village together each month with stalls selling fresh, locally produced vegetables, fruits, plants, meat, cheese, bread and baked items, delicious cakes, drinks, and so much more. There are also some craft stalls selling handmade cards, pictures, and lots of other lovely gifts.

The Café

The Café serves fabulous homemade cakes and other tasty snacks, along with hot and cold drinks. It’s a great place to catch up with friends for a chat and a cuppa (and of course a slice of yummy cake.)

The book stall is always popular and never fails to offer a bargain to book lovers.

The Hanley Swan Market always offers a chance to win a prize and more often than not you’ll get to enjoy some musical entertainment from the stage of the hall.

The market runs in the Hanley Swan Village Hall (next to the primary school) on Welland Road and there is a bus stop nearby. There is free car parking and there is also a playground adjacent to the car park (great for keeping the little ones entertained.)
